Accommodation – When it comes to accommodation in Ghana, you’ll find something for every budget and style. From budget-friendly guesthouses and cozy Airbnb options to mid-range hotels with modern amenities, the choices are endless. If you’re looking to splurge, luxury resorts along the coast or in Accra offer top-tier comfort and breathtaking views. Food – Ghanaian food is an absolute feast for the senses. Transportation – Getting around in Ghana is an adventure in itself! You’ll find plenty of options, from the bustling tro-tros (shared minivans) that are perfect for hopping around cities, to taxis that can get you door-to-door for a fair price. If you’re in Accra or other big cities, apps like Uber and Bolt are super convenient and easy to use. For a bit more freedom, you can rent a car or even hire a private driver if you’re planning to explore outside the city or head to remote areas. Just keep in mind, traffic can be a bit hectic, so always plan ahead!

Climate and Weather – Ghana has a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to March. This is when the weather is most comfortable for exploring, with less rain. The rainy season, from April to October, can be humid and wet, so plan your trip accordingly for ideal weather.

Suggested daily budget – A daily budget for Ghana can range from $35–$65 for budget travelers, staying in hostels and eating street food, to $80–$160 for a mid-range experience with comfortable hotels and local dining. Luxury travelers can expect to spend $220–$430+ per day for high-end accommodation, fine dining, and private transportation.
