et me take you on a little getaway only 2 hours by car from Accra. Imagine a place of pure nature, surrounded by beautiful landscape and various animals. That’s exactly what our trip to Safari Valley Resort in Ghana felt like—pure bliss! If you’re thinking about taking a break from the hustle and need to reconnect with nature, this place is a must-visit.
After a quick registration, we met with our guide, who gave us a warm welcome and an introduction to the resort. They led us into an electric golf car (keeping it eco-friendly!) for a tour of the place and its diverse wildlife.
Our first stop? A section filled with unique chickens, including some with funny head shapes from Poland. This was just the start of what would be a day filled with amazing animal encounters.
One of the highlights of our trip was seeing zebras up close! I discovered one of the zebras being pregnant! Our guide shared so much knowledge, it was one of the most informative wildlife tours we’ve been on.
But that wasn’t all—we also spotted kangaroos (yep, in Ghana!), buffaloes, antelopes, and an impressive variety of birds, all roaming freely. The whole experience felt like a safari in Ghana, with every moment being both exciting and educational.
After the animal encounters, we took some time to chill by the poolside. The scenery here is nothing short of magical. Especially watching the sunset from the pool site. But we didn’t stop at lounging—nope! We got into a few rounds of table tennis, shot some hoops at the basketball court, and even tried our hand at archery. The resort offers a great mix of relaxation and fun, making it the perfect spot to spend a whole day.
One thing I cannot forget to mention is the food! Dinner was absolutely delicious—I’m still dreaming about those flavors. The staff at Safari Valley are incredibly kind, and they even helped us capture all our fun moments.
