hana really knows how to do beach days. Whether you want chic pool vibes or relaxed sunset energy, there’s something for every mood. Here are the spots I’ve experienced and a few still on my list.
I’ve been to Polo with my sister and friends and honestly — the entrance already feels special. You’re picked up with a golf cart, which immediately gives exclusive energy. The entrance area is beautiful and stylish.
Here goes dress to impress. The pool area is aesthetic, the beach right in front of you, and the overall atmosphere feels luxirious.
Especially during the holidays, they host the best parties in town.
Ozzie’s is more relaxed and easygoing. You don’t need to dress super chic — it’s comfortable and welcoming.
And I have to say:
The yam chips are amazing. The chicken wings were so good too.
It’s a great spot for laid-back beach afternoons with good food and no pressure.
Sandbox brings the energy. They have a pool plus direct beach access — best combo.
What I love most are their events, especially the Sunday brunch events I can recommend. The vibe builds throughout the afternoon and by sunset it’s just music, drinks, and a really good crowd.
Perfect if you’re in the mood for something social and lively.
Africana has such good vibes. The music is always on point, the food is really tasty, and the atmosphere feels warm and social.
It’s one of those places where you go for a few hours and somehow stay all evening.
These are places I haven’t visited yet, but they’re definitely on my radar:
Looks modern and lively, with pool + beach setup. From what I’ve seen, it attracts a younger crowd and seems great for weekend day parties.
Seems like a mix of resort comfort and beach club vibes — pool, loungers, and ocean access. Looks like a good option for a longer beach day.
From what I’ve heard, this one is calmer and more peaceful. Feels like a good escape from busy Accra days.
More raw beach energy, less luxury, more sand-between-your-toes vibe. Looks perfect for sunset drinks and a casual atmosphere.
